Group Announcements OsbournPark High School CompetitionThere is a high school vex tournament at Osbourn Park High School Dec. 3. We do not have any robots ready for the competition but I encourage all to attend. It is free to attend and it will give, especially 6th graders, a good idea what to expect in the competitions.
Shirts were passed out 11/9Any student that ordered a shirt recieved it yesterday during robotics. If anyone still wants a robotic shirt I have some left over from previous years. It will be $10.00 for a short sleeve t-shirt and $12.00 for a long sleeve t-shirt. I still have most sizes but all are adult sizes. Please come an see me for one!
2011-2012 Weekend Events and CompetitionsOctober 29th Fun day at Gainsville Middle School December 3rd Highschool competition at Osbourn Park High School We may attend if we have any teams ready! January 14th Competition at Potomac Middle School Teams that have an operational (autonomous and operator control) robot prior to the registration deadline may compete! February 18th Western Qualifier, Bull Run Middle School All teams need to be ready to compete! March 10 Roboticon at Garfield High School All qualified teams will compete! April 19th – 21st Vex World Tournament Disneyland !! First MeetingThe robotics club will meet for the first time this year on Wed. Sept 21 from 3-5. Parents please plan on being here by 4:45 so that all participants are picked up in a timely manner. A permission slip will need to be picked up on the door of room 1301 and completed by the first meeting. A copy can be obtained below.
